We all know that wrapping gifts is a BIG part of Christmas. But if you're tired of store-bought paper and recycled, smashed bows, here are ten ways to add a little sparkle to your presents! ✨

Kimberbell Gift Wrapping Tips

  1. Use black craft paper and decorate with a chalk pen.

  2. Wrap gifts in sheet music, printed newspapers, or old maps, then tie with bright ribbon.

  3. Include dried fruit, flowers, pinecones, holly berries, cinnamon sticks, or sprigs of pine and eucalyptus.

  4. Add a meaningful photograph and tie with twine.

  5. Choose a color scheme and use different (but coordinating) patterns.

  6. Decorate plain brown paper with puff paints, markers, pom-poms, washi tape, or other craft supplies. (Involve the kids!)

  7. Wrap in fabric for chic furoshiki with scarves, dishtowels, or handkerchiefs as an extra gift.

  8. Slip a thoughtful note with the gift tag.

  9. Embellish with cookie cutters, ornaments, candy canes, and other small gifts and treats.

  10. Add monochromatic shine with silver and gold foil paper and matching metallic ribbon.

And here are some bonus tips: the designs from A Kimberbell Christmas, Vol. 1 would be darling embellishments for your gifts, and don't forget Holiday Jar Toppers and Gift Tags, too!

Well, that's a wrap! (Sorry, couldn't help myself . . .) And remember, wrapping presents is always more fun if you're listening to Christmas music or watching an old classic.

Happy wrapping!
