February Craft Night: Travel Quillow & Bunch of Luck Tea Towels

Did you catch Craft Night With Kimberbell on February 12, 2026? It was a total blast (as always)!
If you're new, Craft Night is about taking original Kimberbell projects and reimagining them in new ways.
If you'd like to watch Craft Night in its entirety, just click the video below OR watch it on our Facebook page or YouTube channel.
Now, let's take a close look at each of the reimagined projects!
Cassie's Project: Travel Quillow
Original
The Snuggle is Real
Poppin' Patches Bonus CD: 80's Rewind
Green Quilted Pillow Cover Blank
Quilted Pillow Cover Blanks are easy to embellish with serged, open side seams and a sewn-in zipper. Add your favorite design and stitch up the sides!

Reimagined: "Quillow"

Materials Needed
- Green Quilted Pillow Cover Blank HERE
- The Snuggle is Real HERE
- 80's Rewind design from Stitchin' Rewind 80's Edition Event (or another design of your choice). Find a shop hosting this event HERE!
- A 40 x 40" finished quilt (You can make your own or buy something!)
Cassie's Pro Tips
- Add your favorite design to your Pillow Cover Blank. (Again, Cassie combined a design from The Snuggle is Real and the Stitchin' Rewind event.)
- Flip your pillow cover so the inside is facing up. Take your quilt (facing down) and line up your binding seam with the zipper seam. Pin in place.
-
Stitch along binding seam to attach your quilt to your pillow blank. Leave about two inches on either side of the pillow so you have plenty of room to turn your corners. (So you only sew the middle about 10-12 inches of the binding seam.)

- After your quilt is attached, sew the remaining three sides together to close your pillow blank. (Optional: Cassie added a ribbon to the seam so she could attach a carabiner!)
- Turn your pillow blank inside out. You will then be able to fold your quilt into its attached pillow cover!
- Take your quillow on the road, snuggle it, and enjoy! 😊
