Home Sewn, Vol. 2: Tiling Scenes

Hip, hip, hooray! Home Sewn, Vol. 2 releases TODAY!

Here's how it works: You'll stitch six panels on your embroidery machine, then sew them together to create stunning tiled scenes for July, August, and September. 

Each scene is thoughtfully digitized with no bulk in the seams and includes a beautiful blend of applique, quilting, and decorative stitching to lighten the density.

There will be four volumes in all, so you'll have a different scene for each month of the year! (Volume 1 is available HERE, and Volumes 3 & 4 will release later!)

July

Kimberbell’s July scene features fireworks, flags,and bunting along the white picket fence. Stitch the applique grill, red door, and front porch, then add a vintage sewing machine to the window!

August

Kimberbell’s August scene is a tropical paradise with a surf board, beach house, and palm tree dotting the sandy shore. Stitch the seagull, sand toys, and starfish, then add your vintage machine!

September

Kimberbell’s September scene features school days and golden rays! Stitch sunflowers, cornstalks, and crisp apples, and be sure to add your vintage sewing machine to the window! 

From poofy clouds to the Falling for Autumn mini quilt, our September scene is a nostalgic nod to a sweet season just on the edge of fall.

Mini Quilt Panels

Now, I think one of the most charming parts of our Home Sewn scenes are the darling  nods to past Kimberbell projects. For example, in the August scene there's a mini Vintage Boardwalk quilt! 

August's scene has a Sippin' on Sunshine quilt, and the September scene has Falling for Autumn. 😍
