"Main Squeeze" Strawberry Lemonade Recipe

When I first saw Kimberbell's Sippin' Label Appliques, I knew I had to include a recipe to go with the darling Strawberry Lemonade design (shown above)!
My recipe has a special twist and is perfectly refreshing for the spring and summer months. Enjoy! (Learn more about Sippin' Label Appliques HERE!)

Main Squeeze Strawberry Lemonade
Ingredients
- 5 cups cold water
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups fresh strawberries
- 1 3/4 cups freshly-squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup freshly-squeezed grapefruit juice*
Instructions
- Wash the strawberries and cut off the stems.
- Combine 2 cups water with sugar and strawberries in a large bowl.
- Stir ingredients together until sugar is dissolved.
- Pour strawberry mixture into a blender. Blend on high until smooth, then pour into a pitcher.
- Add the remaining 3 cups of water, as well as the lemon juice and the grapefruit juice.
- Mix well and serve over ice!
*If you don't like grapefruit juice, go ahead and use lemon juice (or maybe experiment with lime)!
